BIOGRAPHY

      Born in Chiclayo Peru, Chancafe studied drawing and painting between 1985 and 1989 at the National School of Autonomous Arts from Peru.

      Em 1989 com propositos artísticos inicia uma viagem por sul america, realizando diversas  exposiçoes in Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.
      He arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1990, where he lived until November 2015. After living in New York for three years, he lived in New York for three years. returns to Brazil in 2019, where he resumes his work with new projects and exhibitions.

Awards

Chancafe participated in several visual arts salons in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, obtaining several awards, including bronze, silver, gold and two travel awards.

1996- Havana - Cuba trip prize at the PMRJ visual arts salon
1999- Gold Medal and Originality Award at the Plastic Arts Salon at Santos Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro
2001- Milan-Italy trip award at the 1st MAIMERI Latin American Biennial held at the Latin America Memorial. -SÃO PAULO.
2006- First prize as the best work at the 54th visual arts salon of the Military Club in Rio de Janeiro.
2009- Gold Medal at the Environment Fair, held at Forte de Copacana RJ
2012- Trophy and Gold Medal as  Best Work in the Salon at  1a  Expoarte das Américas at the Antonio Berni Consulate General gallery in Rio de Janeiro
